BluRay ripping hasn’t been soo easy till now. It’s only one software you need to rip ie. MakeMKV to rip BluRay movie onto Mac or Windows. You will get exactly the same quality 1080 or 720p rip in a single.mkv file. But let me tell you ripping in the same quality means it can take from 25GB to 50GB space for each movie, so keep tab on your HDD space before you proceed.

Pop-in the BluRay and click on “Open Disc”, it analyses the Disc and the gives you an option to save the it in an output folder. It will show you the contents on the right, just select the biggest size file (you can choose extras as well if u want to),which can be between 15GB-50GB and then wait for approx. 30-60 mins, depending on the size and hardware of your machine.

Voila!!! You have got your own BluRay Movie on your hard drive forever. Enjoy……….
